Firewheel Golf Park
Lake Course
The Lakes Course is a difficult, challenging 18 hole golf course. Around Firewheel we like to say, “if the Bridges course has teeth, the Lakes Course has fangs.” With ten lakes, water figures into many shots. And if the water doesn’t get you, the sand just might with 52 bunkers sprinkled generously over the rolling hills of Garland golf.
The Lakes course boasts the Pavilion, an open-air event facility that’s perfect for corporate outings or family.
Bridges Course
The Bridges Course, established 2001 is a twenty-seven hole premier public course. It is the crown jewel of the Firewheel Courses. The Bridges Course features Bent grass greens, 419 Bermuda tees, fairways, and roughs, and a 35 station practice range. The rolling terrain, large mature Oak and Pecan trees, well positioned bunkers, large putting surfaces, and Rowlett and Spring Creeks winding throughout, makes this course a must for the golf enthusiast.
The Champion nine plays to a length of 3474 from the back teeing area, and to a length of 2614 from the front teeing area. The Masters plays to a length of 3553 from the back tees and 2529 from the front. The Tradition plays to a length of 3202 from the back and 2529 from the front. The Champion – Masters’ par is 72, The Masters – Tradition is 71, and par for the Tradition – Champion is 71.
